    Published IJPSC issues are deposited in the Internet Archive as an additional measure for long-term digital preservation and public accessibility.

Archiving & Digital Preservation Policy

The International Journal of Psychology and Strategic Communication (IJPSC) is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content, independent of the journal’s own website infrastructure. This page describes the measures currently in place and those planned for the future.

1. Current Preservation Measures

The full text of every published article is permanently hosted on the journal’s own website (ijpsc.org) and remains freely accessible without embargo, in line with IJPSC’s Open Access Policy.

Issue PDFs are additionally deposited with the Internet Archive, providing an independent, third-party backup copy outside the journal’s own infrastructure. Deposited issues can be viewed directly at IJPSC’s own Internet Archive collection: archive.org/details/@ijpsc. This collection is expanded as new issues are published.

Article-level metadata is registered with Crossref (DOI prefix 10.61030), ensuring persistent identification and discoverability of every article independent of the journal website, and enabling Crossmark update notifications where applicable.

2. Self-Archiving by Authors

As described in IJPSC’s Copyright & Licensing Policy, authors retain the right to deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, on personal or departmental websites, and on academic networking sites, at any time and without embargo. This author-driven self-archiving provides a further, independently maintained layer of redundancy for IJPSC’s published content.

3. Planned Preservation Arrangements

Following its acceptance into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), IJPSC intends to apply for the DOAJ/JASPER preservation programme. Through this programme, eligible open-access journals are archived at no cost across multiple independent, internationally recognized preservation systems, including CLOCKSS and the Internet Archive, as listed in the Keepers Registry.

This page will be updated once formal preservation arrangements through JASPER, or an equivalent Keepers Registry member, are in place.
