IJPSC is edited by academics affiliated with public and private higher education institutions. The Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Serge Velesco is Professor at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. Members of the Editorial Board are affiliated with Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, the Innovative University of Applied Sciences (INU) Cologne, Brandenburg Medical School and Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (Ukraine). Through the DAAD-funded Ukraine Digital programme, the journal works closely with Oles Honchar Dnipro National University and Odesa National Economic University.

Funding

IJPSC is funded by the Wittmann Foundation, which promotes science, research, and education. The Foundation’s support covers the journal’s publication infrastructure, editorial administration, DOI and metadata services, website operation, and open-access publishing activities. Funding is organisationally separate from editorial decision-making.

Journal Management

Scholarly and editorial management of IJPSC is carried out independently by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board.

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the scholarly direction of the journal, editorial management, peer-review procedures, research integrity and final editorial decisions in accordance with the journal’s published policies.

Editorial Independence

IJPSC maintains full editorial independence from its institutional and financial support. All scholarly and editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board in accordance with the journal’s published policies.

The Editor-in-Chief holds overall responsibility for the journal’s scholarly direction, editorial management, peer-review procedures, research integrity, and editorial decision-making.

The Wittmann Foundation, as the journal’s owner and funding organisation, does not determine the acceptance or rejection of individual manuscripts and does not influence reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial assessments, publication decisions, corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, methodological or conceptual quality, research integrity, and the outcome of the journal’s peer-review process.

The journal’s ownership, financial support, and administrative functions are organisationally separate from editorial decision-making. Neither the journal’s owner nor its funding organisation exercises authority over individual editorial decisions.

IJPSC is committed to maintaining editorial integrity, transparency, impartiality, and academic independence in accordance with internationally recognised standards of scholarly publishing.

Funding Model

IJPSC is funded by the Stiftung Anneliese und Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Waldemar Wittmann.

The Foundation’s support contributes to the journal’s publication infrastructure, editorial administration, DOI and metadata services, website operation, and open-access publishing activities.

Funding is organisationally separate from editorial decision-making.

Author Charges

IJPSC does not charge authors any submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), editorial processing fees, peer-review fees, page charges, formatting or typesetting fees, colour charges, publication fees, or other mandatory charges.

Authors therefore incur no mandatory fees from submission through publication.

Copyright and Author Rights

Ownership and funding of the journal are separate from the copyright ownership of individual scholarly articles.

Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights in their articles without restriction. Copyright is not transferred or assigned to IJPSC or to the Wittmann Foundation.

Authors grant IJPSC the non-exclusive right of first publication and the non-exclusive rights necessary to publish, distribute, preserve, identify, index, archive, and maintain the version of record.

Peer-reviewed scholarly articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
