Abstract
This article examines the essence of personnel management in transnational corporations (TNCs), particularly within the context of globalization. In today’s interconnected economy, effective human resource management has become a strategic priority for maintaining competitiveness on a global scale. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to analyze the key features of HR management in TNCs, identify major challenges faced by international companies, and propose actionable recommendations to enhance the efficiency of their personnel systems.
Methodology and Scope
To achieve these objectives, the study applies several research methods, including analysis, synthesis, and comparison. Furthermore, it defines the role of TNCs in the global economy and supports the discussion with examples of leading corporations such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Saudi Aramco, and Tesla.
Key Challenges in Global HR Management
Moreover, the article explores the concerns of expatriates before taking on international assignments. In particular, it analyzes the difficulties in managing multicultural teams, especially challenges related to intercultural communication, which often arise from differences in values, mentalities, and decision-making approaches. Additionally, the issue of workplace mobbing is addressed as a rising concern in international HR contexts.
Strategic HR Approaches in TNCs
The study also emphasizes the significance of gender equality, especially in leadership positions, as an essential element of effective global HR strategies. As a response to these challenges, the implementation of cross-cultural management practices and continuous training programs is strongly recommended. These approaches, in turn, improve communication among culturally diverse employees and facilitate the development of unified performance standards.
Productivity Tools and Motivation
Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of coaching and motivation systems in enhancing employee productivity. Such measures contribute to employee engagement and long-term organizational performance.
Conclusion and Practical Implications
Ultimately, the practical relevance of this study lies in its ability to offer evidence-based recommendations. By addressing current HR challenges and adopting international best practices, TNCs can build more resilient, inclusive, and effective personnel management systems—ensuring sustained success in the global marketplace.
